Турлитава

Ставете го да се пржи кромидот, исечен на покрупни парчиња. Додајте го лукот во цели чешниња, па морковот. Прелијте ја цела смеса со сосот од домати ставете го виното, водата, зачинете, додајте црвена пипер и претурете го во земјен сад со капак.

Ingredients

500 g of pork

500 g of veal

2 peppers

2 onions

1 head of garlic

1 black eggplant

1 zucchini

200 g of okra

2 potatoes

2 tomatoes

250 ml of red wine

200 ml of water

spices salt, pepper, bay leaf, parsley, red pepper

3 carrots

Turlitava

An old, traditional Macedonian dish. the meat is slightly boiled for about half an hour, in salted water.

In a pot, fry the cooked meat in oil, then set it aside.

Fry the onion, cut into larger pieces. Add the garlic to the whole cloves, then the carrot. Pour over the whole mixture with the tomato sauce, add the wine, water, season, add red pepper and pour it into an earthen pot with a lid.

Let it bake in a heated oven for 2 to 2 and 1/2 hours.
